Makita 18V Sub-Compact Impact Wrench

Makita has introduced a new class of cordless tools with their 18V LXT® sub-compact series. Offering users the handling of a 12V tool with the run time and compatibility of an 18V tool, the Makita sub-compact tools are designed to be compatible with the largest 18V Lithium-Ion cordless tool system in the world.

One of the standout tools in this new series is the 18V LXT® sub-compact Brushless 1/2” square drive impact wrench, specifically designed for working in tight spaces and overhead applications. The XWT13ZB features an efficient Makita Brushless motor BL™ that provides up to 50% longer run time, increased power and speed, and a longer tool life. With variable two-speed settings of 0-1,300/0-2,400 RPM and 0-2,000/0-3,600 IPM, as well as up to 130 ft. lbs. of max torque, this impact wrench offers versatility and power in a compact size.

In addition to its performance features, the XWT13ZB also includes convenient functions such as a reverse rotation auto-stop mode that halts rotation and impact when a fastener is adequately loosened. Users will appreciate the variable speed trigger, built-in L.E.D. lights, and a 1/2” square drive for quick socket changes. The tool is also equipped with Makita extreme protection technology (XPT™), which includes a protective seal inside the tool to enhance its operation in harsh conditions by directing water and dust away from key internal components.

As part of Makita’s expanding 18V LXT® system, this tool is powered by 18V Lithium-Ion batteries that offer rapid charge times, allowing users to spend more time working and less time waiting for their batteries to recharge. To further enhance tool performance and battery life, Makita has integrated Star protection Computer controls™ into the XWT13ZB. This innovative communication technology enables the tool and battery to exchange real-time data and monitor conditions during use, protecting against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating.

For added versatility, the XWT13ZB can also be powered by Makita 18V LXT® and compact Lithium-Ion batteries that feature the Star symbol, indicating the presence of Star protection technology. With its compact and ergonomic design, weighing only 2.7 lbs. with the battery (sold separately), this impact wrench is a lightweight and powerful tool that is ideal for reducing operator fatigue during extended use.
