This store has earned the following certifications.
Makita, a pioneer in brushless motor technology and battery innovation, has combined both in the 18V X2 LXT (36V) Lithium-Ion Brushless Rear Handle 7-1/4” Circular Saw (XSR01Z, tool only, batteries and charger sold separately). This powerful tool is powered by two 18V LXT Lithium-Ion batteries for maximum performance. It features an electronically-controlled BL Brushless motor that adjusts torque and RPM to suit the application.
With the Makita 18V X2, users can enjoy freedom from cords even during demanding applications such as cutting sheet and dimensional lumber, which have traditionally required a corded saw. The best part is that users can stick to one battery platform, using the same fast-charging 18V batteries with the XSR01Z as they do with other Makita 18V LXT cordless tools.
The XSR01Z comes equipped with a variety of features for efficient cordless cutting. Its blade-left rear-handle design will be appreciated by users of leading corded saws. The brushless motor delivers a powerful 5,100 RPM for fast and efficient cutting. In fact, during internal testing, the XSR01Z was able to make up to 558 cross-cuts per charge in 2x4 SPF lumber using two fully charged 5.0Ah batteries.
Additional features include a large 2-9/16” cutting capacity at 90 degrees, allowing for cutting of 3X lumber in a single pass, as well as an electric brake for enhanced productivity. The saw is built with a die-cast magnesium base and blade guard, along with a die-cast aluminum blade cover and motor housing, providing durability without adding extra weight (only 12.4 lbs. with batteries, sold separately).
As part of Makita’s expanding 18V Lithium-Ion system, the XSR01Z is compatible with the world’s largest cordless tool system powered by 18V Lithium-Ion slide-style batteries. Makita 18V Lithium-Ion batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, allowing users to spend more time working and less time waiting for batteries to charge.
For improved tool performance and extended battery life, Makita has implemented Star Protection Computer Controls. This technology enables real-time data exchange between the tool and battery to protect against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating. The tool can also be powered by Makita 18V LXT and Compact Lithium-Ion batteries with the star symbol indicating Star Protection inside.
In summary, the Makita 18V X2 LXT Circular Saw offers powerful performance, long run times, and the convenience of cordless cutting without sacrificing efficiency.
